ABOUT:
Damian Burford is a Concert Promoter, Freelance Writer, Podcaster, Film Festival grunt & “Jack of all trades, master of some!” Damian is currently living in Napa, CA with his partner Claire.
He is currently freelance writing for the Napa Valley Register. He is also the founder of Good Omen Presents, a small production company working to produce Comedy, Concerts & Film Events in the Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Bay Area and Beyond!
Damian has been writing about music since he was 16 years old, making zines in Shreveport, Louisiana. He would also start the local show blog, Shrevepunx, spotlighting punk rock shows in North Louisiana/East Texas. At 18 years old and through his Shrevepunx blog that Damian started booking concert events, renting out the basement of an art gallery in Shreveport for bands to play.
Damian cut his teeth working as the venue manager & talent buyer/promoter for the Triple Nickel Tavern (2008-2011) and an Assistant Manager of The Black Sheep (2011-2013), both in Colorado Springs. He was an independent concert promoter in Denver hosting shows at 3 Kings Tavern(RIP), Hi-Dive & Mutiny, as well as the founder of the 2017 “Best Punk Festival” award winning Don’t Panic Fest.

Damian moved to Napa, California with his partner Claire in 2022 for her work. He would find seasonal employment with the Blue Note location in Napa doing Hospitality, Box Office, Stage managing and more!
When the 2022 season ended, Damian approached the Napa Valley Distillery and pitched a concert series inside their Warehouse Production Series & Speakeasy bar The Hollywood Room.
That series would win Silver for Best Live Music Venue in Napa in 2024! However, there was a freak car accident turned fire that happened at the Distillery in July of 2024 causing the venue to shut down for repairs. Damian would found GOOD OMEN PRESENTS as a way to continue the programs he has been building in Napa.

Mostly Harmless with Dammit Damian is a self-proclaimed “Punk Rock Talk Show,” that grew out of “Dammit” Damian Burford’s former music zine, Mostly Harmless (2002-2005).
The podcast ran from 2012-2017 before taking a long sabbatical. It came back in 2021 as a YouTube video show, before devolving back into an audio podcast for 2022. It currently runs when Damian feels an itch he cannot scratch. Expect episodes randomly throughout 2025 and beyond!
The goal of Mostly Harmless is to create a community of like minded individuals who love Punk Rock, Films, Comedy, Comic books, authors; while championing the DIY Spirit.
At 40 years old, Damian is coming to this new series of Mostly Harmless as an older man, who feels a bit silly to still be interviewing and writing about ART at this age, but he can’t stop. This new series is a chance to chat with other filmmakers, musicians, comedians, artists, comic book creators about their creative pursuits, and how they keep going. All that, while finding time to introduce you to your new favorite things.

Damian has also worked for Mill Valley Film Festival as a Lounge Coordinator, and is actively seeking more Film Festival roles. He has also worked for True West Film Center (Formerly known as Alexander Valley Film Festival) and is actively looking to produce film screenings with Q&A’s around the area. Stay tuned for what we have coming up!
